Food for Thought: Design context

Every day in the UK, we consume huge amounts of food that:

Transporting food around the world is using up precious fuel, causing pollution and making our climate change. The chemicals that many farmers use are polluting our water and soil, and can damage our health. The packaging used is non-biodegradable and ends up in landfill sites.

As a result, more and more people are now looking for food made using organic, locally grown ingredients.
